| The Foundations were
formed in the mid 1960's, and within a short
space of time, the band had achieved world
wide success with their single -Baby, now
that ive found you-.
Two more records, -Back on my feet again-
and -Any old time you're lonely and sad-soon
managed to make their way into the UK's top
20.

Their biggest hit -Build me up Buttercup-
went to the top of the charts all over the
world..This was swiftly followed by -In the
bad bad old days-, which is widely regarded
as one of the best British Soul Pop records
ever to be produced..
And with a repertoire which includes many of
the Soul/R&B Classics, as well as all of the
Foundations Hits, the band are still causing
a sensation wherever they may be playing.
The band recently brought the house down at
the Cardiff Arena. The 3.500 strong audience
also included Sir Paul McCartney, who was
heard to comment: "Hey, they are a really
good band"..
A whole new generation of fans are enjoying
the Foundations sound, thanks to the
worldwide success of the smash hit film

you...-
