NATHALIE WEIDER

Already as a kid Nathalie Weider used to sing all day long. The records of her parents´ collection built her first exercise basis. During a family ski holiday in Austria at age of 10 she had by chance her first gig, just starting singing with the piano player. Her father, who also had played music for 30 years, saw this talent and took his daughter to join him for some concerts. In the early nineties they made some first recordings in a studio for fun. Soon regular gigs followed in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

In 1994 Nathalie enjoyed her first big performance with an audience of 4000 people and definitely got to know and to love the adrenalin running through the veins when performing on stage. In the following years she worked with several producers and recorded and published several CDs and could perform them at many live gigs and on TV.

However, just singing wasn’t enough for the Swiss girl. In 2003 she took the matters into her own hands, started writing songs herself, changed the record company and started working with producer Michael Kull, with whom she produced her album “intensiv”, which was published in 2004. “intensiv” was a totally new and intensive experience for her being involved into the production from the beginning to the end.

RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM ´EIGENTLICH NICHT´
October 19th 2007
Her performance at the International Artist Meeting in Waldbronn Neurod/Germany proved already that she was on the right track with her new songs: On 23.11.2006 she was awarded with the “Deutsche Showpreis” (German Show Trophy) for the performance of the first three finished new songs-

“Eigentlich nicht”
stands for powerful German pop-rock reflecting the emotions of a young passionate woman. Emotions which Nathalie Weider interprets bluntly as well as wrapped into ironic and witty stories. This combination and Nathalie Weider’s unique voice make “Eigentlich nicht” something not only very nice to hear but also an album which you will enjoy listening consciously. Incl. „Hör zu“, Duet with Chip Hawkes, former Lead singer of The Tremeloes – one of the UK’s most successful and enduring rock acts celebrating many hits throughout Europe and the USA (Here Comes My Baby, Silence Is Golden ...)
