Alan Lovell from the Swinging Blue Jeans,
Pete Spencer (former original drummer from Smokie) and
Micky Clarke (the first and original bassist of the Rubettes)
Together they present Chip Hawkes' Class Of '64
The band have been touring for several years now and have completed far over 1000 gigs.
This is probably the most credible and original '60' band on the circuit and when you think of all their combined hits, it is no wonder!
The classic songs recorded by The Swinging Blue Jeans, Smokie, The Tremeloes and the Rubettes are stilll recognised today as tapestries of classic rock and roll music. Without doubt these four bands carved their mark on the face of rock and roll.
And now there is Chip Hawkes´ Class of '64, a delightful breath of fresh air for all 60s music lovers.
